Hello !

First, let's talk about the obvious : I had an anxiety crisis during the intro, coming from nowhere. I already know I'll keep it : I always tell you when I'm in a certain mood because for sure it has an incidence on reactions. And because I think it's very important to talk about mental health. For those who can experience the same crises : to know that you're not alone, to see me feeling it coming and finding ways to stop it (each person has their techniques). And for those who never lived one : you'll know now for next time you'll see someone having/talking about one.

I love movies with that type of mood : it's real calm movies for how they are filmed, even if a lot of things are happening ; it's done in a realistic way to make us think everything could be for real, but with such weird situations and cliches characters that it just feels surreal. It's working well also because of the opening text saying it's coming from a real story. At the end, we're all on Margie and Norm's side because they are the regular guys, appreciating their regular lives and not trying to do illegal stuff or whatever. That's the message of the movie.

I blame the movie a little for making me feel sorry for some characters to then discover they were scammers. Normally I have a real good instinct with people so I had the impression they played me a lot.

I'm still french, so I'm still sorry if my english hurts you.

I'm proud of you for using your skills to recognize and avoid a big panic attack. I know how difficult this skill is; good job!

This was great! The movie definitely does play on your sympathies, with nice seeming characters who are not. That's something of a stereotype about the American Midwest - they call it "Minnesota nice", a kind of veneer of polite friendliness that people in that area often put on. It takes a few years of living there before you develop the ability to sense what personalities are hiding underneath the veneer.
