Hello !

Me before the episode : Askeladd is mostly interested in business so maybe we don't need to kill him, maybe we can do things together. Me after the introduction scene : "Come on, Askeladd is really cool ! I would like to keep a character like him !" So clearly, I didn't expect at all that this episode would end like that. Because of the Boromir's situation, because of killing such a main character and mentor so quickly in the first season, because I really loved both Thors and Askeladd characters and I wanted for them to make things together.

You know I can cry like hell when something bad is happening to characters I love, but here you didn't give me enough time to cry for his death. I admired him a lot already, but in fact, what made me really sad during this moment was Thorfinn's pain. This little boy just lost his dad, his mentor and his hero. He's really just a kid and he doesn't understand what is happening : for him, the situation is just unfair because he saw his dad winning the fight. But soon, he might feel guilty and he will understand Askeladd was just obeying to Floki etc.
