I cried way more for the two previous episodes than this one but I think that the writers did it on purpose, they needed a movie to close everything. I knew they couldn't close the drug business arc, because this show is telling that story and message from the beginning : you can try to catch these guys, some of them can get killed, no matter what at the end they're just gonna be replaced. Marlo is not gonna retire and he's gonna try to come back, so the balance that the new co-op found can be destroyed, and Michael is gonna be the next Omar ? They all know that he killed Snoop, so people are searching for him to kill him, Michael is gonna want to do something against Marlo…

Duquan is gonna be the next Bubbs, and it's killing me. I thought that Priz could intervene and help, and he tried. But Duquan just used him to have money, to buy drugs, and Priz saw that. One day, Duquan is gonna find a way out, like Bubbs did. Bubbs had his story told on the front page, he's now taking dinner with his sister… I just adore him and I have a powerful imagination which can imagine him being one day Duquan's mentor. Him being proud of himself, walking with his sunglasses, that's the picture I'm gonna have directly when I think of the end of this show.

More than McNulty and Leister who preferred to quit than to be buried in an obscure division. I understand and I respect the decision, but this season was rough. Bunk and Kimar are the real deal, the detectives who made their jobs right until the end. I'm proud of Carver and Rhonda who got promoted, and I respect Daniels a lot who said no to the mayor's pressures.
