Hello !

I knew I would appreciate this episode which is happening in a closed space, and I even guessed during the intro that it was an influence for the movie Cube : characters who don't know why they are here, who they are and can't escape from a closed space. All of these questions that the characters are asking, metaphysics ones, all of the context with them not being exhausted or hungry, all of the absurdity of the moment etc, everything was really kafkaian.

The movie Cube was really just inspired by this episode, the similarities are there : here, the characters have also different roles but none of them serve a real purpose for the escape itself, we're not in a cube but in a rond place, none of them remember who they are but they want to fight to get out… The resolution here, with these characters being in fact dolls which are gonna be given to kids for christmas, the unloved ones, is nice and it could have been also a source of inspiration for another movie, Toy Story ! Except that these dolls think they are humans.
