Ten pages in and I'm still really, really nervous about this comic.
It's no secret that audiences generally don't care for new things. Typically, they wait for something to become more established and popular before they give it a read. I've already posted the first few pages online and they're only doing a fraction as well as my usual posts.
I often get the comment, "why do you only make fanfiction stuff? You should make something original." The answer to that is, unless you're very lucky and your original content hits off with the audience right away, it takes a long time for people to find value in your story. It's such a gamble. And considering I'm living paycheck-to-paycheck, this gamble I'm taking it's a bit nerve-wrecking.
I do hope viewership picks up. I finished writing the script to Chapter 2, and I'm very happy with it and these characters.
What do you think of this comic so far? Think it'll pick up steam and last?
