"I want all of them to move, to be adopted, to be safe and right now, I have no hope for any of them" was my quick review after this episode and I hugged my pillow. Michael, I saw it coming for so long, him getting involved with the Marlo's team but I didn't expect for him to enjoy it so much.To see him hurting a kid who is the same age as his little brother, to see him going after one of his friends like that… He's taking care of Duquan at least, but maybe it can be bad for Duquan who is gonna stay and be involved in the business because of that.
I'm afraid of Michael getting killed. Maybe even by Omar who saw him talking with Marlo ? Randy was unsafe even at home and now what, he's gonna return into the system, with the Social Services forgetting about him somewhere ? Carver is feeling guilty about it, for a good reason. Na can't be a corner boy or a soldier, he's not made like that but with parents like his, what can he do ? Do I need to talk about Bubbs ? At the minute he made this mixture for his bully, I knew Sherrod would take it at some point. And now, I'm afraid of what Bubbs can do…

For me, he enjoyed it in the sense that he enjoyed to show a power, that he's not someone with whom you can joke, that he loves to be respected, to be feared. Yes, he's doing because Na can't, and because Kenard knows it. But I understand your point of view.

2023-12-27 16:55:01 +0000 UTCI don't know if Michael "enjoyed" beating up Kenard. Michael just understands you have to develop a ruthless nature at times if you're going to be in the streets. Because people are definitely going to try you. Remember this all happened because Kenard knew that Namond was soft because he gave Michael's mom a discount on the drugs. As far as Michael and Namond I just think Mike was tired of Namond trying to act like something he's not and bullying Dukie. Michael knows Namond isn't built for the game so he wanted to put him in his place so he would stop acting tough. As far Bubbles and Randy I just have to shake my head... definitely heartbreaking for both of them. This episode might be more depressing than when Wallace was killed.
