For sure I cried during this episode… I'm so proud of Kirishima. I knew we would come back to the memory we discovered a little before. I was surprised to have an entire episode about him, but not to come back to that moment. The fact that someone like Kirishima who is so positive, so supportive, believed (and maybe still believes) that he's someone weak, useless, it sounds so weird and it breaks my heart.
With one speech, he found strength and he understood that being afraid is okay, it means you're human. Being brave, it's not coming from nowhere, it's about fighting your fears and still going on with your life, continuing to have dreams. I think it's also a beautiful message to put in an anime. And I love that Mina kept his secret, about who he was, his real color hair, and let him find himself.

I love Kirishima so much ! 😊 I heard stuff about the fanbase of MHA shipping a lot and being obsessed with it, but I think everyone understands here I do it for fun and I even explain in review (here or in another video), that shipping is cool and fun but being mad at people not shipping the same thing than you is stupid and lame. So no worries, I would never engage in a debate like that. And also, for this particular one, I ship them for their relationship, a loved one or a wonderful bromance I don't care. When you ship, you ship a relationship, that's the word.

2023-12-20 10:22:04 +0000 UTCi figured you would like this episode because it's a kirishima episode. he is definitely one of the more likeable and memorable characters in class. i also liked that he worshiped a different hero that wasn't All Might. i just like the idea that despite the existence of All Might he's not everyone's favorite. :P also, i dont know how the comments on YouTube have gone on your videos, but you might want to talk less about shipping in this anime specifically. from what I know, a lot of people consider the My Hero Academia fanbase as the most toxic of the anime fanbases because a lot of people are very aggressive with their non-canon shipping. how you do it is okay because it's just for fun. i'm just saying because you might get some of these people in the comments, and it might be best not to engage with them.
