Harald's part of this episode was pretty predictable, I even announced everything during the intro. For sure, they needed to meet the Pechenegs before reaching Constantinople, so Kurya would meet his brother and have his revenge. But for a blind guy to search, find and kill the Kahn… I didn't have a lot of hope for him to survive. But I was surprised by his end, which was symbolic for him but also for Leif who, for once, killed a friend here, and helped him to join his heaven. So we have also the religious aspect here, with also the christian death just before… Everyone accepting and respecting the religion of the other one, directly connected to his/her belief about life after death.

We didn't have a lot of Freydis during this episode (and nothing about England), but I guessed too late that Yorundr would be found by the wrong person. Olaf, coming with his obsession of killing Freydis and his desire of being remembered as God's hand, converting all Vikings to christianity.
