Yes ocs are picked from that list to make ychs of every patreon voted animation. The current one is ''portals to playtime'' Then after that ''the nightwatchers playtime'' Then after that would be the upcomming jaina x amalgam animation etc.

I can't find the description of this benefit 😶🌫️ We submit character(s), then after you release your core animation, you randomly pick up handful of characters from the list to do the swaps? Or, if you are selected, we have more freedom do pick animation where we would like to be swapped into?
