Life Update

How are you doing? I hope you're taking care of yourself.
Your health is important, so make sure you do, okay?!

Unfortunately, once again, I’ve fallen sick.

My doctor and I are still trying to figure out why this keeps happening... I’ve been getting sick every month since September 2024. Every month, I come down with some kind of recurring infection, even though I’ve been taking plenty of supplements, sleeping better, and exercising more. I can’t help but feel sad that I don’t have the energy to do the things I enjoy. :c

This time, the illness isn’t too serious, thankfully. It’s a viral infection, though the doctor didn’t specify exactly what it is. He prescribed a bunch of immunomodulators and painkillers. I'm hoping it's not Influenza, but I... feel like it might be? I've never been vaccinated for it too.. ;w;

The symptoms? Whew... the symptoms got hands. I feel so weak and lightheaded, almost like I’m floating. It’s times like these that I really wish I’d taken better care of my body. The fever was especially the worst. I was considering on writing my will already when it happened.

So you—YOU—take care of your body, OK?! Don’t get sick!
It’s not fun, even if it means skipping work!

Anyway, regarding my drawing activities, I’ll do my best to take it easy so I don’t worsen my condition. I’ll likely focus on smaller one-shot illustrations or finish some older sketches—something easier to manage and less draining, at least until I recover. Until then, I will probably take a break from sketching out my comic or sequence ideas until I can get out of bed and back to my office (yes, I have an 'office' to hyper-focus when drawing, it's just an empty room with a table, lol)

I apologize for not taking better care of myself! I know my body is my responsibility, and I should do whatever it takes to avoid getting sick. I will learn from this, and hopefully.. no more... infections.. okay?! Too much of it.. too many of it, I'm tired of it! ;w;

I truly appreciate each and every one of you. Thank you so much for your support, even though I haven’t been able to pumping as much art as I’d like to. Honestly, I’m incredibly grateful that, thanks to you, I can help alleviate some of my medical expenses. I am genuinely thankful for everyone’s kindness and support. I'll work hard, I swear! 💪💪

TL;DR: I'm sick again, might need time to recover, I'll work on simpler illustrations for now to avoid straining and worsening the condition. I apologize for not taking care of health better. I appreciate your support, and I hope to continue to normal activities soon!

P.S. I finished coloring the 'Catboys in Garlemald' illustration. I'm just figuring out if I want to add more variants to it, but I should be finishing it real soon. Please look forward to it! (I really liked how the color turned out on this one!)
