Been fucking around a bit more
Added 2019-07-05 00:56:25 +0000 UTCJust wanted to test how quickly I could get the motioncapture set up. Turned out with the goblin, it would take a bit longer then the night elf, due to some problems with the joints rotation/position not being at 0. The night elf had the same problem, but I managed to work around it. (however, I would have to do this fix on all of the hairstyles, lashes and other parts that came with the model, which would add a lot of time per model.)
However, while playing around with the goblin, I got the idea to write a script simple script to attatch the original joints to a second joint setup that would drive the original joints, and have 0 in their position and rotation axis. Since this script works with any model, that means ill be able to do these types of motion capture setups even quicker.
Soooo, with this, it means that everytime i set up a character for motioncapture/downloaded animations, all the hairstyles and model parts will work perfectly too \o\ This will for sure be helpfull for mini games =D Just need to adjust my auto rigger, to be able to rig models that already has joints now, and ill be able to start animating in maya. Thatll probably take a few days though, so ill bench that until august.
