Thats one of hte main reasons why I will start watermarking my posts, so that people who do see these posts, know where they can get more. The most recent uploads were not sourced, but if I watermark them, they will be no matter. That should at least lead people in the right direction :)

I dont think you are attacking me. I did press the issue in december, hence why im keeping it short this time. I just want people to know why im making the changes. (I made no changes in december) but now I will now, and ill do my absolute best not to hurt loyal patrons, whom I am so lucky to have many of =)

I don't feel like the changes are unjustified but i've seen this post twice now. Are you going to stop there or are you going to keep pressing the issue? Well, if you increase the price, more will probably drop and just go the 'free' route. I recommend watermarks...specifically with the Patreon link and your name. ....like maybe as a Tramp Stamp. :P

I agree with watermarking so you still get publicity after they post. I'd like to add my own experience with seeing content from creators i support on these sites however. The first thing is the most common and strongest argument that's been used. Piracy cannot be proven to lower sales. This has been widely debated and there's not enough substantial evidence to support that it does. Second, I find new creators i've never heard of from these sites. You're a creator i found out about through rexx, but 3 of the 5 creators i currently support i found through some variant of r34 sites. I don't agree with them stealing your content, but unfortunately, we can't prove they lead to lost sales. I certainly won't stop supporting you, but you might actually gain more patrons from having someone else post your work.

I wrote in the post that i cant solve the problem. I dont feel like the watermark will negatively affect anyone. (It will be small and in the corner of patron exclusive posts) it will not be attentionseeking either. The 3 dollar rank is optional. The swap system for 10 dollar patrons was going to be changed eventually no matter. But if you still feel these changes are injustified please fill out the form telling me why, and ill take a look at it.

its literally the smallest fucking change. Liard knows he's not alone but that doesn't change the fact that there needs to be a way to somewhat help the situation. stop acting like he owes you anything. 2 dollars is super cheap for his incredible work that is probably worth way more.

Liard, you're not hte only artist who is having their patreon stuff stolen and posted publically. You attempt to appeal morality to an obviously immoral individual. Now you're considering punishment for the vast majority of people who want to support you honestly to try and make it more difficult for the one maybe two people who want to steal your intellectual property. This is real life stuff and you need to understand your art isn't the only aspect of your life where this kind of underhandedness is going to happen to you. Don't be too severe on the 99.9% of us who want to support you trying to solve a problem that you won't be able to solve.

What sites have they been uploaded too? Im quite sure you can demand them being taken down if it is. I remember Sakimi-chan another patreon user have had her stuff removed from a ton of sites and made sure they won't allow it up anymore.

I'm sorry this shit happened again. Watermarking is a good idea. 99 out of 100 artists are discrete enough about them that it doesn't take away from the product itself, but still you know who made it. However, the $10 reward would effectively only be the discounts? With $3 getting a swap too, the only difference being that there are probably fewer $10 patrons so it'd take less time for you to cycle through them. Did I get that right?

Are the giveaways chosen around 10 of each month like before?

It will be a monthly raffle. It is not full on RNG as 10$ patrons gain tickets, and lose them as they win something. (They will lose less tickets if they win the swap though as its a minor price) I plan on opening commissions soon, so the current swap system wont work in the long run no matter, im afraid.
