Animation links are dead again
Added 2017-10-24 22:59:57 +0000 UTCSo, ive had a lot of people compolaining about dead links, and honestly I am getting frustrated with all the unreliable websites ive been using for uploads. So ive decided ill start hosting the mp4 files on my own website. However, as gifs use muuuuch more space, I cant host gifs there.
that is why on my newest animations, mp4s work (ive already replaced the links) the gifs use toooo much space though, so i would have to pay tons to update my websites space, and well. that space would be wasted in no time, with gifs taking up to 30-50 mb each.
I will however work on a solution so that the mp4 files hopefully should be loaded looping, so that you can loop them on phone. I will try to update you guys on my progress with this in a few days.
IMPORTANT! If uploadir does not come up within a week, I will most likely have to cut even more content next month, to upload every animation on my website, and on patreon again... It sucks, but most of my work is already unwatchable due to this reason. If uploadir doesnt work again, 95% of my work will bne unwatchable.
Also, im getting better! No longer as sick as I was 2 days ago, when i felt like pure garbage xd

I will take a look at my mp4s quality though, and since I cant host gifs reliably on other host sites anymore, ill probably drop them. As mentioned, im working on a solution for mp4s to loop on phones. I believe most watch the gifs on phones, hence why thye want them.

2017-10-25 03:24:44 +0000 UTCJust do like Rexx and the majority of other animators did and just phase out the GIFs entirely - they're becoming increasingly obsolete with the widespread adoption of MP4/WEBM. Your MP4s could stand to be cleaned up though, they look blurrier than they should - I know the format is clearer than that.
