Binge read, feels weird how little time has passed since the start. All this stuff (and relationship development) in what, 5 days? Seems a bit fast maybe? Dunno.

She's an echo, a ghost of Alexa's desires to break everything and free everyone stretching itself across time forward and backwards. The concepts of "before" and "after" is very loose when it comes to Wormwood Star because it bends/breaks space-time like a black hole event horizon.

Do the concepts of "before" and "after" even apply to the Wormwood Star? As extra-spatiotemporal as it seems, I have my doubts about that. Don't think I didn't catch that Sasha and Alexa both share the "cracks in reality with myriad fractal blue eyes" motif.

But they are changing so incredibly quickly it is hard to appreciate the depth of how much the status quo is being rewritten. Going back and seeing a bit of how things were before the Big Alex Nuke fell on Skyfall would be a great way of exploring the normal dynamics of the world. Pre-Alex Omnid-human relations and such.

2024-12-30 02:20:55 +0000 UTCYou know, when you have massive spare energy to burn (because I'd really rather have it spent on more ahead chapters), Vitaly, I'd really love to have a short story which is just the school day before Alex Glock walked into Skyfall high. With chapters from the perspectives of each of I Love You's team members. Just to see how much Alex/Martin just burned the world down around him and rebuilt it in his image. It'd be hilarious. Just a thought. I know you have you plate MASSIVELY FULL of the many stories you have to tell. I'm aware that if you started taking requests, you'd never have time for anything else. Still. It'd be funny to watch everyone walk around with absolutely NO IDEA how much their lives are about to change!

Because I see clear and strong connections between Somebody Stop Her, Somebody Stop Him, and Unlimited Isekai And Other Unfortunate Magics, but much less connection between Technomagica and Scientific Sorcery. The latter two don't seem to have connections to the other three books at all, except in the form of Arx being mentioned in them and maybe the presence of Arcanix. Maybe. I haven't yet proven to myself that Cedez is definitively Arcanix. The shadowy skin is throwing me off. Could be an adaptation to Arx? Eh.
