Basically a Zoom meeting, which would explain all the rules, cause the emperor is having multiple meetings at once. wow that would be huge especially if he can lead from the front as well

I thought that maybe the royal family was a lineage of frog people, and genzo might have been a relative, but discounted that since I thought genzo evolved from an ordinary frog. I guess the royal family are actually literal (if probably magical) frogs.

Guess Genzo doesn't have enough clout to get them a private meeting with his introduction. That or fox is right and maybe it's an intimidation tactic to make the children uncomfortable and off balance.
