End of BSE book 5 coming soon, and future plans

Technically, it would have been Monday, but I'll be posting a bonus chapter either Friday or Saturday with book 5's epilogue to celebrate the conclusion of the book, as well as passing 300 chapters, which happened a few chapters back.
Now for the bad news. Book 6 is the final book in the BSE series that I have planned. If the series does well on Amazon and Audible, I may do a follow-up series with the same characters, but that won't happen for some time. Since Book 6 is the last planned book, I need to start gearing up for my next series. To do that, I will be reducing BSE's chapter releases to 3 a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, starting next week. Eventually, the new story will get posted on Tuesday and Thursday.
I already have some chapters written for the new series, but don't expect to see any of them on Patreon for a few weeks. My goal is to have book one complete or nearly complete before posting it on RR, so that's about 3 months of writing for one story. At least for me. It will probably be more like five months since I will be working on two stories at once.
Oh, and for anyone curious, it'll be a spaceship core series.

2025-08-13 08:36:14 +0000 UTCI usually preach for authors to have a plan for books and mention mother of learning as an example for when to end the story. Still it is a sobering thought that your favorite story will end sooner rather than later. I think you managed to grasp the writing style that works for you and the readers to deliver solid soft sci-fi series. Would love to read your new book, even if I'm not into the "core" genre.
