Wyransith - A Basic Word Primer

This is a small primer I've compiled of some of the more common Wyransith words you'll encounter in the rework prelude, particularly Dark Maiden Route. You'll still need to rely on context to understand a lot of the conversations, but this will be a helpful tool to feel less lost in all of the conversations.

Core Pronouns

• thy = you (intimate)

Basic Verbs

Useful Phrases

• "Eri a vira'vir" = "Come to me"

• "Eri ywen tharran" = "I want her"

• "Thy gythyn?" = "Are you hungry?"

• "Thy lumael sairys" = "You are perfect"

• "Veth thy eudnas'dra?" = "What did you say?"

Basic Grammar

• Word Order: Subject-Object-Verb (opposite of English)

  • "Eri ywen tharran" = "I her want" I want her

• Questions: Question word + normal sentence order

• Commands: Verb + 'vir (myndir'vir = go!)

• Future: Verb + 'vek (tharran'vek = will want)

• Past: Verb + 'dra (tharran'dra = wanted)

Hopefully these will be helpful as you delve into the rework. An upcoming update will include additional resources in-game for deciphering the language. This is separate from the weekly Wyransith post for Darksinger & Duskweaver members. I plan on posting that this evening.
