I want to apology

All the anime characters I use for this game actually come from booth.pm
Usually, whenever I buy a clothing or character asset, I always check the terms of use. However, after someone told me that some creators of anime clothing assets can take down
the game if their terms of use aren't respected, I decided to double-check every asset I had purchased. That's when I realized I had made a big mistake. Normally, whenever a creator releases a clothing asset, they include a link to a Google document with their terms of use (see first image).
So I didn’t bother reading the main page for the asset at first. However, today I reread the entire page and found out that I’m actually not allowed to use it in games — which was a bit contradictory to what was stated in the terms of use.
In order to safely continue the development of this game, I will need to remove several clothing assets, including the goth soldier outfits and the goth maid outfit for Milltina as well as the bunny suit for Rindo.
Since I think it would be a shame not to have maids in the game, I’ll try to find a maid outfit for Milltina that I can use safely and legally.
I want to sincerely apologize to people that had fun with those clothes assets. I should have been more careful when purchasing and reviewing the terms of those assets.
To avoid any issues with the original creators, I will remove all versions of the game that contain the problematic assets and upload a new version without them. I will also take down all current versions from itch.io and release a new free version without those assets (it will however not contains the new tanks/missiles enemies nor the new vrm import feature)
I hope you can understand this decision and I'm again sorry for this mistake.
Finally, if some of you are interested, I can also make a tutorial on how to create your own vrm character and customize it with clothes bought on Booth.pm so you can play it in the game

2025-07-29 11:55:01 +0000 UTCNo worries dude. It's still an awesome game nevertheless. Cosmetics are cool, but maybe not the important at the point of development of the game ? If you could focus more on other parts of the game, and put some other outfits later, it would be okay too, no ? And why not learn how to do vrm models ?
