Pausing development for the month

Hey everyone.

I am writing to express my sincerest apologies for unfortunate circumstances that prevent me from being able to ship this month's release of DoC.

As you may know, my father has been battling health issues recently.

Last month, his aorta ruptured, and he's had to go through open heart surgery. The recovery since then has been a mixture of ups and downs, with his health recently taking a turn for the worse.

It's been a tough journey for me and my family, and our primary focus right now is to support my father through this critical time. I used to bury myself in work, both through DoC and my day job, so I could not think about it too much. But with the news of his condition getting worse, I just can't bring myself to work on personal project for a while.

Given the gravity of the situation and the importance of my father's well-being, I have made the difficult decision to prioritize being by his side, and have paused the Patreon for a month.

I assure you that my commitment and enthusiasm towards the project remain unwavering, and I sincerely apologize for not being able to contribute to its success at this specific time.

It's just too much for the time being. I truly have tried my best to sit down, write and code, but it simply is not happening.

Once my father's health stabilizes, I will be fully committed to catching up on any missed work and ensuring that my contributions to the game are of the highest quality.
