INTERLUDE 1: [An Amusing Adventure!]

While our protagonist is currently getting off scamming the poor Team Rocket grunt of his whole career and life savings while the rest of his main team watched with deadpan looks, shall we change perspective for a moment?

Up high in a familiar sky, above the clouds, a pink Pokémon looks down, covered in purple mystical energy. Its bright blue eyes twinkled with amusement as it observed the human below, repeating the same actions over and over again.

The human would approach the oddly dressed man, receive a shiny golden Nugget, battle with a pitifully weak Pidgey, lose instantly, and then—

Poof!

He was gone, only to return moments later and wait for a good while before repeating the whole process all over again!

"Shishishishi! [ꉂ(ᵔωᵔ)]"

It giggled at the sight, its tiny paws covering its mouth as its long tail flicked playfully.

Looking at the Trainer a little closer, it could see that there were prints of energy in his soul. That was peculiar, as the signature of the energy belonged to that large unicorn Pokémon that it so seldom senses.

Hmm... Oh, it understands now! So this world was actually a simulation made to house the Trainer?

That made sense. At times, it feels like time rewinds slightly, as if the universe was suddenly reset. And the fact that no one realized that the Trainer below him disappears and reappears out of nowhere cemented its theory!

Wow, that unicorn sure is powerful to be able to make such a realistic pocket universe! Even it wouldn't be able to distinguish the difference if it weren't for the Trainer below!

Realizing that it too was just a simulation wasn't that much of a worry for a being of its caliber. Not to brag, but it was the original Pokémon, you know? Other Pokémon were simulated with itself as the basis, with minor changes to differentiate the various species, after all!

... Aside from all the other mythical Pokémon that existed before itself, but that was just semantics! It was the originator that birthed the modern Pokémon into this era!

Besides, if this world was just a simulation, that meant that—

The world the Trainer comes from should be the original, right?

Its tail flicked in excitement as another giggle escaped.

Cracking this should be fun!

With a hand raised, it pointed to the air next to it when suddenly space and time bent to its will as a fracture revealed itself.

Looking through the hole in space, it noted that the world that the Trainer came from is much larger than it thought, with all new kinds of things to explore and play around! So many Pokémon running around too!

Using its psychic abilities to create a larger fracture in "reality," it looked at the Trainer, whose Pidgey was getting destroyed one last time before exiting the simulation and flying into the new world.

Hmmm... It was in thought for a moment. Now, where was that unicorn? Maybe it could tell it where the funny piece of entertainment it found lived!

But first, some chocolate Poképuffs! You can't start a search while hungry; that was the law!

Covering itself in purple energy once more, it spun before flying to the closest chocolate Poképuff that it could smell, hoping to get a freebie, which it always did! No one could resist Mew's charm, coupled with the fact that all cute Pokémon came from itself, so surely by that logic; it was the cutest of all!
