BNHA: Dude, Just Eat This Kamehameha

After the test, everyone took their schedule for the semester and went back home since today was just the auditorium. With that out of the way, Nion immediately went to his gym for his daily training in the afternoon.
Watching his classmates do all the tests with that much determination made him feel restless, so he hoped to burn that energy doing something important! It took him a few seconds to get into the groove of training, and as he was bench pressing the heaviest weight in the gym, which was 800 kilograms in his base power level, he felt three familiar Ki signatures at the entrance.
The gym's door slid open, revealing Nezu, Aizawa, and Nemuri at the doorway. With a huff, he places the weights back to their original position and got up.
"Hey, what's up, guys?"
"Going rather well, hunk! We're here for the Ki lessons!"
Nemuri said with a sensual tone as her eyes racked over his physique. He didn't care much about it since this was normal, she does this to all guys anywhere from what he understood, but it was a little embarrassing to be treated like some kind of prime steak.
Mmm, food... Thinking about it, he hadn't grabbed something to eat after class was dismissed...
"Oi, earth to Son, focus."
Aizawa broke him from his daydream of food, causing Nion to chuckle sheepishly.
"Sorry, I was just thinking of food. Come on!"
He waved to follow him as they went along to a section of the gym with padding on the ground. Taking a seat on the padding floor, he patted the ground to signal them to sit down too.
"Well, we'll just continue what we did a few days ago, and call it a day when it gets late."
Now, this was a rather new development. Almost 2 weeks ago, Nezu recommended the two teachers to learn Ki. If he had to guess, he chose the two because 1. They were close-range fighters that see the front-lines a lot, and 2. they were physically weaker than the rest of the staff members barring some exceptions.
Nezu didn't join in the sessions though, he just simply watched.
Well, he really didn't mind teaching his teachers Ki Control, he treated it like a little break to training all day, sometimes you have to take breaks between training sessions for maximum growth, taken from Master Roshi's Way of the Turtle School.
So far, the two haven't found their Ki Source yet, which was confusing since they have a good amount in them due to all the fighting and training as heroes. That's really weird, since he easily got a hold of his Ki, and Videl too after only a few days of practice. It's as if there was some kind of mental lock.
Pushing the thoughts for later, he puts his hands forward as the two teachers gently placed their hands over his. Nion then starts to pump small amounts of Ki into their body as they soon went into a meditative state.
No one made a sound other than breathing as the two teachers tried their best to access their Ki, but after almost an hour of meditation, they were still not able to access it.
Opening his eyes, Nemuri asked with a sigh.
"Are you sure we even have this Ki? I can feel yours and track it when it enters me, but it just disappears all of a sudden."
She was really stoked when she heard that anyone could learn this Ki thing, since she was the type of fighter to enter the battlefield first due to her Quirk's potential, so every kind of advantage she gets is important for her survivability.
... And who didn't like the idea of flying?
Nion scratches his head as he looked equally confused.
"Definitely, Nemuri, I already told you, every living thing has Ki. Heck, even the planet generates Ki. But for a random reason, it's like there's this kind of lock that just prevents you from unlocking your Ki Control."
"Tsk... This is a waste of time. I would be planning my syllabus if it weren't for you badgering me to come along, Kayama."
Aizawa glared at Nemuri who raised an eyebrow.
"Weren't you the one who came in the first place, Shota? Imagine if we could use Ki like Nion here, it would be a boon! Besides, complain to Nezu if you think it's a waste of time!"
As the two started bickering as do old friends do, Nezu who was quiet the whole time started to ask with curiosity in his tone.
"Perhaps... Our Quirks are the reason for this "lock" that you speak off, Nion? You've said that martial artists have an easier time unlocking their Ki, yet they still cannot unlock it even though they are rather good in the art."
Nion taps on his chin in thought. That...
"I... guess that's something to consider? We already know that using Quirks use some Ki in the reserves, so maybe? But who would want to be a test subject for this?"
Another reason why Nion thinks that Nezu opted to bring Aizawa and Nemuri was because he trusted them. He doesn't see Nezu bringing a random person without a Quirk into this circle.
Nezu hummed.
"I'll find someone for you to train Ki in, but until then, please continue helping this two unlock their Ki."
Nion gave Nezu a wide smile as he gave the headmaster a thumbs up.
"Sure! I'll do my best!"

Twirling his pen, he stared at the notebook on his table as he did some thinking about a technique that he was trying to get down. The Kamehameha took almost 3 months to get down the first time, but this technique has already been on the drawing board for almost 2 years with no progress.
Every technique he "borrowed" from Dragon Ball had no instructions, so he played by ear and made them with no instructions. So far, all his techniques that he recreated were simple enough to construct, only taking time and Ki Control to master.
Hell, the Multi-Form technique, which took a year of reverse engineering, was easier than this stupid technique that Goku learned. It bruised his pride a little, you know? Goku managed to learn not one but two of the techniques that he had listed in his "to-do list" in a year, yet Nion has been stuck with the easier of the two for almost 2 years now.
While his mind was thinking of other ways to tackle this technique, the sudden increase in Ki in the surrounding area sent a chill down his spine, causing Nion to tense up instinctively with his pen dropping to his table.
The increase was out of nowhere, from a meager 4 PL to a whopping 300 PL. Holy f**k, what in the name of God is that?!
The Ki signature then moved, as if it were instantaneous, from the other side of the school, where the staff room was, to their class in a blink of an eye. All this happened in a second, so Nion didn't recognize whose Ki it was until the door slammed open.
"I AM COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!"
All Might, the number one hero in Japan and, unofficially, the world, leans from outside with his iconic smile on his face. And holy sh*t was the man built under that red, yellow, and blue spandex of his. Nion had never seen the man up close before, but damn, were those muscles trained for maximum power and speed.
There was a difference between building mass and muscle, after all, he made the mistake in the first half of his training, and had to transition to the latter the moment he realized the problem. Rough times, to say the least.
The surrounding classmates of his started to chatter in awe while the man walked to the podium of the class.
"Afternoon, people! I mainly teach Practical Hero Basics, while your homeroom teacher, Aizawa, teaches Theoretical Hero Basics! They alternate per class, and this subject has the most units in the syllabus; please note that down! And I don't think I have to explain what we do in this class, so let's get straight into it! Today's class will be all about..."
Fishing out a card from who-knows-where, All Might did a pose before thrusting the card to show the class what the activity was today, with the words printed out in a very bright orange kanji.
"BATTLE TRAINING!"
His classmates repeated the words of All Might, some in shock and others in excitement. All Might waits for the class to settle down before pressing a button on the podium.
"And to pair with the training are these!"
Hisses sounded as the blackboard in front of the class rotated and folded inward, revealing suitcases with numbers corresponding to each student's number in the class based on alphabetical order.
"Costumes made based on your Quirk registrations and requests you all sent in before school started!"
"""WOAH!"""
The whole class erupts in excitement as All Might continues his speech.
"Everyone, take your suitcases and get dressed! Then, meet me at Ground Beta for your training to begin!"

Walking into Ground Beta in his weighted Gi, he was glad to not wear the movement-restrictive uniform anymore, it was uncomfortable and tight as hell. Still, looking at the costumes that his classmates were wearing, he couldn't help but think that he was sorely underdressed.
Armor, bodysuits, mechanical equipment... Just wow. His classmates sure went crazy on the school's costume budget that they gave... Well, he would be a hypocrite if he didn't say that he spent all of it on more weights to his four limbs.
He didn't wear the heavier variants, though, since he was still not used to his current set. Give him another two or more weeks to train with them until they are like paperweights, then he will add another 30 kilos to each limb.
And he mentally noted that some of his classmates were wearing very tight clothing, which would restrict their movement to a considerable degree, even if they were stretchy. A disadvantage that he will remember if he fights them in this training.
"HAHAHA! They say clothes make the man, young ladies and gentlemen. Be fully aware that by wearing those costumes of yours, you are now heroes!"
All Might took a look at the class before nodding in agreement.
"Great job to both you all and the designers, you all look really cool! Now, shall we begin, you zygotes?!"
"""YES!"""
"GOOD! Now, it's time for the battle training to begin!"
"Sensei!"
Iida, in his robot-looking costume, raised his arm and called for All Might before asking his question.
"This is a battle center from the entrance exam, so will we be conducting urban battles again?"
All Might shook his index finger before raising two fingers in a peace sign.
"No, we're going to move ahead by five steps! Most of the time, fighting villains takes place outdoors, but if you look at the total numbers in the statistics, villains are more likely to appear indoors!"
"Hostage situations, house arrests, backroom deals... In this society filled with superpowers, it is those truly intelligent villains that hide in the shadows!"
"For this class, you'll be split into teams of villains and heroes and fight 2-on-2 battles indoors."
The girl, dressed in green and with large eyes, interrupted All Might as she asked.
"Without any basic training?"
"Well, what better to start with real battles to understand the basics? However, the key this time is that there are no robots you can just beat up without a care. No, you will be fighting flesh against flesh!"
And then questions started bombarding All Might.
"How will wins and losses be determined?"
"Can we just beat them up anyway?"
"Will there be any punishments, like expulsion, similar to those of Aizawa-sensei?"
"How will we be split up?"
"Isn't this cape crazy glittery?"
The sudden questions caused All Might to groan, with him raising his hand to stop the questioning.
"O-One at a time, please! I'll answer them all in a second!"
Composing himself, the number one hero took out a booklet filled with bookmark stickers, with the front having a large title in kanji titled "SCRIPT!".
OK, that's just cute.
"Ahem! The situation is that the villains have hidden a nuclear weapon somewhere in their hideout. The heroes are trying to safely extract said weapon."
"The objectives of the heroes are to catch the villains or get the nuclear weapon back in the allotted time. The villains have about the same objectives: to protect the nuclear weapon for the whole time or catch the heroes."
Oh? This looks really fun!
With the explanation done, All Might puts his script back to wherever he took it from and shows the class a bright yellow box with the kanji "LOTS" written in the front with a black marker.
"Teams and opponents will be determined by drawing lots!"
"Wait, so haphazardly?"
Iida exclaimed, but Midoriya explained.
"Well, pros often have to create makeshift teams with heroes from other agencies, so so maybe that's why it's chosen like this?"
"I-I see, the discernment to look ahead... Please excuse my rudeness!"
"No problem, young Iida. Time is short, so let's do this quickly!"
A few draws later, Nion took his own lot and looked at the alphabet on the ball.
"Team C..."
He looked at the other person who was on the same team. Yaoyorozu... Right, she was the really smart one who always answered correctly to questions that teachers asked during class.
She stared back and gave a polite nod towards him, so he walked up to greet her.
"Hi, I'm Son Nion; pleased to work with you, Yaoyorozu!"
"Likewise, Son."
She was decently fit, as Nion inspected her closely. Muscles at essential places meant she had good endurance; she was more of a technical type than a power type.
Right, he usually differentiates fighters into a few types.
Power Types are people who are strong in a straightforward manner and can cause great damage, either physically or with their special powers or Quirks. Nion was of this type due to his strength and Ki Manipulation.
Support types were next. They include people with special abilities that perform at their best when taken advantage of by one or more partners. He watched some videos, and some American hero had this Quirk to boost allies in the surrounding area with their screaming.
Technical Types were those that rely mostly on skill rather than brute force, taking advantage of the weak points of opponents and their mistakes to efficiently bring them down. Paired with her Quirk to create anything and her smarts, Yaoyorozu would be a perfect example of this type.
It's a good pairing, a power type and a technical type will pair greatly. She will be a great teammate to fight with.
A few moments later, All Might announces the teams that will fight against each other as villains and heroes.
"The first teams to fight are... Team A and D!"
That is... Midoriya and Uraraka versus Bakugo and Iida. Nion was a little disappointed that his fight wasn't first, but he shook it off as All Might led them to the control center of Ground Beta to watch the fight.
