RWBY: Just a Gamer Grinding Away

It's been about a week now, and man have I been grinding my Production Mastery (Basic) skill.

[ PRODUCTION MASTERY (BASIC - LEVEL 4) ]
[ Your skill in Producing items is that of a Producer with the bare basics. ]

This took so long, especially when I only had a few attempts per hour. But after a week of grinding, I had quite the number of potions in my disposal.
Grinding an average of 10 potions an hour, and with an average of 8 working hours, minus a lot of potions due to my low chance of success... I basically was a printing machine, with my stocks well full in my Inventory.
A total of about 274 potions. 131 Health Potions, 61 Mana Potions, and 82 Aura Potions. Thank goodness the Game was kind enough to give more potion bottles.

And because of my unique bonus of a 5% chance to increase a product's grade, from the 274 potions, I had 14 potions that were a grade above the normal potions that I could make.

7 Medium Health Potion, 4 Medium Mana Potion and 1 Medium Aura Potion. Beautiful.
The past week weren't always about grinding my potions too. I had some scuffles along the way. Oh, and my daily missions, can't forget those.

I'm a hoarder at heart, so those Stat Points will never be used until necessary.
But still, I've been using most of my free time with traversing the land, and I still haven't found any signs of civilization. The forest was just that dense, I even scratched myself a few times because of the branches that overpopulate the area.
Give it a few more days, Ashton. If I still can't find anything that interests, then I guess I'll just build a temporary base and raise my stats higher for a few weeks before continuing my journey.
I sighed as I looked at the Iron Sword in my hand, using Observe on it.

Yeah, nature wasn't kind to this sword at all. I would need to get a replacement or else my hands will be my primary weapon then. Maybe craft one myself? Thoughts for later. For now though, finish my daily mission, cover more ground, make more potions in the meantime, and hope that I can find people.
Good plan, great plan.

OK, I didn't find civilization after a week of gaming, but I did find something interesting...
In front of me was a weird oval mirage that spanned two meters in height. It was just a few centimeters from a huge tree. Heh, I found it while I was deciding to cut down some wood for my soon-to-be weapon, when my eyes landed on said huge tree.
I got close to it and raised my hand towards the mirage.

A zombie dungeon? That's cliché. My eyes glanced at the number beside the title of the Dungeon. Number 15? Out of what? If this was the number 15th, then how many more dungeons were there? And this dungeon key, where do I even get it from?
So many questions with so little answers. Hmm... I looked at my sword's remaining durability.
[ OBSERVE Skill used ]
[ Iron Broadsword (Common) ]

Yeah, I got to make a new weapon, this will break on me soon. Thank you for your service, Mr. Sword, but you will have to be used to cut wood.
Looking around, I randomly selected a decently thick tree and walked towards it. Spitting both hands with saliva, I gripped the iron sword with both hands and inhaled.
Hopefully my STR stat will make this easier!
SLICE!
Ducking away, the tree that I just cut fell down to the ground with me yelling "Timber!" out loud.
... Holy shit, it went through though? That easily? There were some resistance, especially when the blade went through the middle parts of the trunk, but wasn't this just too easy?
I looked at my hands. Huh, well damn, I'm strong. Guess 25 STR meant a lot compared to a normal person.
Looking at the wood that just fell, there was a slight problem now that I thought about it. Can the sword's durability last long enough for me to carve out an axe?
Eh, I'll cross hat bridge if it comes to that. Time to enjoy a session of carving, I guess.

Embarrassingly, it took a few attempts, due to both the chance of success along with minor details that I didn't like, before I was satisfied.

[ Unnamed Axe (Uncommon) ]

I admittedly shed a tear when I saw this beauty. It had the shape of a Norse battleaxe, with a curved two-handed handle along with a longer blade than most axes. Everything was made with wood, even the blade.
It felt good in his hands, and the weight was decent since it was made of wood, much lighter than the iron sword. The damage was more than three times of the iron sword too.
Raising it to inspect the blade's edge, I thought for a while before giving it a name.
"I'll name you... Storm Breaker, cause you look like MCU Thor's axe."
Flipping the axe into the sky and grabbing its handle, I looked at the shavings of wood along with the failed attempts. My eyes landed on the piece of wood that was long enough for another tool.
... Maybe one more tool wouldn't hurt? Sitting on the patch of grass, I held Storm Breaker on one hand, and the strip of wood on another before carving away.
DING~

Ahem, three days and a few level ups later (Looking at you, Grimm! Seriously, stop coming at me), I made my other weapon, and this one was

[ Unnamed Katana (Uncommon) ]

The katana's blade was as long as my forearm, curving slightly, with its edge sharper than Storm Breaker. The hilt was just a block of wood since my skill with carving wasn't that great yet, I didn't want to risk ruining the piece. The handle was smooth to the touch, and was long enough to be held by two hands comfortably. I even left some ridges to make it harder to slip while using it.
The blade was light, lighter than the axe, but the trade-off was the lower damage and durability. Faster attack speed but lower damage while my axe had higher damage with a slower attack speed.
Perfect combination.
"I'll name you... Raiden."
I took some time to make a sheath for both weapons, made out of the same material. The sheaths didn't have any interesting properties, just a safe way to keep my blades.
With the crafting done, I got up and stretched my body. I've been sitting for almost four hours now, the sky was already dark. I opened my status page once more before I'll start grinding Grimm kills.
My theory is that the dungeon keys are most likely dropped from the Grimm, that's why I took my time making my weapons, I'd need good weapons if I'm to continuously kill Grimm.

You might be thinking, Ashton why is your MP so low all the time... I was maximizing my MP with potions. I think I added another few hundred to the existing hundreds in store.
And the drop of AP was because I kept cutting my fingers with my axe carving the blade. It hurts so bad, imagine a papercut but there's no blood.
Like the description from Game, novice right here. Popping the knot in my neck, I exhaled before keeping Raiden back into my Inventory while brandishing Storm Breaker.
Alright, while I wait for my MP to regen back for more potions, I'll grind some Grimms for the meantime then.
