“FIX! FIX! FIX! FIX!”
In an instant, scattered parts of machinery disappeared as a red blur streaked around the warehouse, assembling a rectangle like piece of technology that highly resembled a fridge… Except for the top part that looked like a hydroelectric generator.
Completed, the red blur slowed down, revealing a red gremlin wearing black and white clothing, with googles covering his eyes and the Omnitrix symbol laying on his waist.
“This should work, the water stream for cooling down the fridge should correspond with the hydroelectricgeneratorcreatinganinfiniteamountofelectricityforthefridge,Ialsohookedupanadditionalstoragegeneratorfortheexcesselectricityandfortheotherapplications… OK, done! Assembly complete, haha! Take that, you dummy internet geek! Saying that it wouldn’t work! This is why you can’t trust the internet!”
Pulling his googles from his eyes and placing them on his head, he grinned at his creation before looking around the place, the warehouse looked much accommodating in his eyes.
A bathroom section with a shower and toilet that instantly vaporizes any filth and dirt collected in the drainage system, coupled with a wardrobe that recommends any outfits that are placed inside with a touch-screen pad, and an automatic freshener system that sprays environmental scent bombs every time the flush is used.
A kitchen section that automatically sorts and brings kitchen utensils out from storage with voice commands, the same drainage system as the bathroom to vaporize any leftovers, and a water dispenser system using atmospheric water generation outside the warehouse.
And security systems that have lot of dangerous weaponry, all thanks to Juryrigg’s crazy ideas regarding defenses. This warehouse is now built like a modern-day fortress with guns, anti-air turrets, a 99% accuracy lock-on features for said guns and turrets, a GPS system that also acts as a hostility tracker for any hostile intentions 5 mile from the base that can pair with the lock-on feature, a tickling trap machine that catches anyone with its extendable arms, and an awesome railgun that can snipe up to 147 miles on a bad day.
“…”
He resisted the urge to disassemble everything that he built, and instead opted to get out of this alien form, pressing on the Omnitrix symbol on his waist to transform back to normal Daniel. Fighting the migraine in his head from the overload of information flowing inside his mind, he quickly went to his work table before writing down stuff that Juryrigg needed for his other creations.
Damn alien, he just wanted a normal phone, but what are these components? Nuclear fusion reactor? Supercomputer CPU chip? How the hell was he going to get that? Scratching that off the list, he is 100% sure that his FBI agent would have alerted the authorities if he searched this up on the web.
“It is quite slow, to be fair. I suspected that you’d finish in an hour or two of transformations. Instead, you’ve took two weeks, my creator would create two new planet Galvan Primes in that period.”
Azmuth appeared from the Omnitrix suddenly as the Virtual Intelligence stood on Daniel’s head, with a smug look on his face. Daniel rolled his eyes.
“That’s if I had Grey Matter. Instead you give me Juryrigg! You know how crazy the alien gets, that fridge took hours because he keeps getting side-tracked with weapons! I created fourteen rifles and a pair of shock-inducing brass knuckles that I doubt I’d use!”
… OK, the brass knuckles he could use, but 14 rifles that were clearly at a higher level than the world’s most advanced guns? How, why, who, what? Seriously, Juryriggwas crazier that smart in his eyes.
But he did save a lot of costs, Juryrigg used a full week just to create components of everything from scratch, using items found in normal stores. Who’d thought that it was so easy to create an infinite hydroelectric generator? That was surprising to Juryrigg, this universe’s tech was so much better than his Earth’s.
Maybe he could make a quick buck from these guns? He was sure that many people in this world would kill to buy these. They are laser guns after all, with an output high enough to be able to melting tungsten as if it was butter, from what Juryriggnoted.
Thinking about it a little more, he shook his head. Nah, its too overkill for the heroes. If he supplied them, then the heroes must be supplied too to even the battlefield. Very bothersome.
“Stop daydreaming, it’s time to get more funds.”
Azmuth suddenly interrupts his thinking time. Sighing, he got up before raising his left arm to activate the Omnitrix once again. It’s immoral stealing time, he guessed.

Phasing through buildings and furniture as Ghostfreak really makes you see the world differently. Literally. The world was now made of atoms, and to pass through them he had to will his body to separate their atoms so that they would pass through the natural gaps.
Think of it like this. When he is Ghostfreak, his normal vision is quite normal, though darker than usual. Then, when he is in his intangibility mode, his vision is replaced with infrared vision that tracks heat signatures. But if he really concentrates on an object, his vision will morph into a vision that can see atomic structures.
Really confusing, can’t really explain it well with his 10-year-old brain, but TLDR; when he is Ghostfreak, he sees stuff. Weird trippy stuff, a gallon of LSD kind.
Turning off his intangibility power, he pressed on the Omnitrix symbol hiding behind his skin on his chest as he turned back into normal Daniel after a flash of green, standing up straight. Walking forward, he carefully takes his steps before looking down at the little ants walking around the street. Yep, he was high up enough, no one would find him here since condominiums tend to make their rooftops inaccessible.
This was his hangout spot whenever he wanted out from his warehouse, he spends too much time in it, a guy needs his fresh air. And the good thing is that the cameras were not working at all, meaning he was good to stay here forever.
“Azmuth, bring the goods out.”
A moment later, a sack materialized from green motes of energy, floating in the air for a brief moment before gravity did its job, causing it to drop and land on his palm. Yeah, this was another feature of the Omnitrix, the ability to store anything up into its digital inventory.
Don’t know how it works, something about turning it into data, maybe Juryrigg knows, but his brain can’t comprehend it. He does know, however, that the inventory space was akin to a 10-by-10-meter storage room, he can only fit too much before the Omnitrix stops allowing him to store stuff inside of it.
Feeling the amount of weight, the sack had, Daniel had a very complicated look on his face.
“… Maybe I shouldn’t do this no more.”
“And how would you get your funds then?”
Azmuth asked as he appeared on his right shoulder, sitting down. Putting the sack back into the Omnitrix, he sighed at the question.
“I don’t know, what other ways can I get money without anyone getting suspicious?”
The Omnitrix assistant stays quiet as Daniel looked down at the busy street from the rooftop, hoping to find some answers for his question. Online is a mess because he doesn’t have a bank account, normal jobs are impossible because he hadn’t created an ID and background yet (Juryrigg), and people would look at him weirdly. A 10-year-old boy needing a job? That raises some unwanted flags.
Sighing, he took a sit on one of the vents on the rooftops before looking at the sky. Stealing is… Wrong, in his book. Sure, at first it was for survival, but now it just feels off. Especially with this thing stuck on his arm.
It would ruin Ben Tennyson’s image if a random guy with his symbol started robbing people blindly. Leaves a bad taste in his mouth, especially when this device was used to save another universe, and yet he was here doing nothing with it.
The world of My Hero was vague to him. He only watched the first season before opting to watch other, more nostalgic anime, so the plot was not that clear to him. He recalls about an exam to enter the school, a superpower test, and then something with villains.
The finer details weren’t there, but the premise of season 1 was in his head. Still, he’s thinking to himself. Should he even be near ground zero?
If this was a shonen anime, then at the end, shit would hit the fan hard and the big bad would be a monster threatening to rip and tear the world.
A few minutes of nothing later, he gave out a sigh before getting up from his “seat”.
Whatever, maybe the gods would give him a sign or something, it was getting really boring out here.—
*BOOOOM!*
The sudden explosion caused him to look at the direction of the ear-shattering sound.
His brain put two and two together, and his eyes widened at the lightbulb in his head illuminating his mind.
“Oh, yeah. That can totally work.”
Getting some money, venting out his frustrations, and having some fun? Man, he knew he was a smart genius without Juryrigg. And for the consequences of his actions… Meh, he’ll let future Daniel deal with it.
Activating the Omnitrix, he heard the nostalgic beep that pops up the dial, revealing the core of the watch on its sides. Twisting the dial, he backs off from the ledge of the rooftop and finds the alien that he needs.
And then he sprinted towards the ledge and jumps off it. He laughs at the winds pushing up to his face, the sudden adrenaline spike, and the incoming death before slamming the dial down.
“THIS TIME, IT’S HERO TIME!”
*BAAAMMMM!*
