Bonus Art - Terror of the Sea

I'm back with this month's bonus art--and this one was fun to plan out! I present to you, everyone's favourite mermaid, doing what she does best. Only...she's a little bigger than I remember. Huh. Well, I'm sure it's fine.
This is something of an artist's rendition of her--as told by fishermen that lived to tell the tale as they survived Marine's wrath, portraying her as some kind of terrifying leviathan-like beast. Maybe they're exaggerating a little, though. Or maybe they're not exaggerating enough? Either way, it turned out really nicely I think and this makes up for me missing MerMay this year! So enjoy the mermaid-y goodness~
Also as a fun fact, the initial sketches of this piece had a lot of dead, floating bodies but I decided against it because that was maybe going a little too far, haha. Let the barrels and chairs suffer in their place!
In the coming days I'll have a new dev log up, too, detailing what I'm working on for the next alpha build--though my plan is to get a new one out before the end of the year, which will finally wrap up the main story, so that's exciting, too.
