Happy 2020 and beyond! Some goals for the future~

Hello everyone! Happy 2020~! I hope you've all had a great New Year and are settling into January nicely. I wanted to make this post a little earlier, but things got a little out of hand--so I'm doing my best to catch up now!
But gosh, wow--is it really 2020 already? What an exciting time. A new decade unfolds upon us--and hopefully with it, lots of exciting content.
I won't take up too much of your time today, and will try to save the rambling for some future dev logs, but I did want to try and list some of my goals I have planned for 2020 and what I hope to achieve sooner rather than later in the grand scheme things.
First of all--the biggest, most obvious goal of 2020 of course...
Release Quest Failed: Chapter Two:
Yes--the fact that I haven't finished Chapter Two yet haunts my every waking moment (and in my sleep)--and it's something that I power through with every day in the hopes of getting one step closer to that illusive finish line! I sincerely hope that 2020 will be the time that Chapter Two releases. Just look how many twos it has! It's a sign!
I apparently curse myself whenever I bring up an estimated time-frame--but all I'll say for now is that I want to do this as soon as physically possible. Lots of voicework for scenes has been completed (for plenty that aren't even in current builds yet), all of the art of the h-scenes is finished, all of the sprites are done. Even the music is all done. It's just the bulk of the writing and scripting that falls solely on my shoulders. I hope that all of the dev logs you've seen so far have convinced you of the quality and sheer scope of the game and that the wait will be worth it.
I've learned many things over the course of Chapter Two's development in how to manage and handle games of this scope--and what works, and what maybe doesn't work. And am confident once Chapter Three starts I'll make far swifter work of it than I ever did on Chapter Two. It's been an absolutely daunting task for one writer alone (me!) and I've certainly been searching for ways to speed up this process. But overall I'm incredibly proud of just how large the script is right now. I think maybe I just should have been less eager to throw in so many characters--because the writing time did rise exponentially, given all of the new h-scenes that needed to be fleshed out. Don't worry--I'm not about to cut anything this far in! You'll still get to spend all the time you want with a lovely girl of your choice. But it has taught me a lesson in how I should 'ration' out the girls a bit more evenly in the coming games. So that you still get just as many new characters--but it's never as daunting to write everything for them at any given time. The open-ended structure has been a nice experiment, but Chapter Three will probably not be as grand on that front, for the sake of production time.
Of course, I haven't made any solid decisions on anything for 3 yet. Its' scope will largely depend on how successful Chapter 2 is, and if I still have an audience waiting for me at that point!
So for now, I'll finish the grand Chapter 2 as intended--deliver the game you've all been so patiently waiting for, and then we'll all decide together how to tackle the future!
Release several smaller titles after:
I believe I've mentioned it maybe in passing before--but with Chapter 2 being so daunting to make, I would love the chance to release maybe one or two smaller, experimental titles in between 2 and 3, just so I'm able to deliver some more femdom goodness to you in a far quicker time-frame without it feeling like it might be years before you ever saw anything from me.
I would aim for these to be about Chapter One's size in length--maybe a little smaller; compact experiences you could go through in a few hours, but still feel as if you've gotten a nice little story out of them. And if all went to plan, these would release this year, too--as lots of pre-production work has already been done on them. So after such a dry spell, you'll hopefully be spoilt for choice all of a sudden!
I've teased bits and pieces of these projects beforehand (think back to the cute ghost or vampire for example) and I won't lie--I have sometimes made some progress writing their scripts when the pressure of Chapter Two was getting to me and I needed a break for a day or two. And so I was able to keep the creative energy flowing on something else still, and was able to return to Chapter Two after with a fresh outlook on the whole script. I feel like some of the writing in this stuff has been some of my best yet, too--so I'll be really excited to share it with you after Chapter Two!
But at any rate--consider this stuff I work on on the side as a bonus rather than anything too substantial. I understand that Quest Failed is the main appeal of FrostWorks, and I never intend to change that focus. These monstrous gals will always be my first one true love, and I'm still truly grateful that I've been given the chance to flesh out such a wonderful universe filled with such diverse characters without compromise. Not many people are able to say they have such a privilege--and so I do my best to not take this opportunity for-granted, or to waste the chance I have.
Work on a number of fun events:
And once the hectic development of Chapter Two comes to a close, I'd love to return to making lots of fun, goofy events that I did before just after Chapter One's release. Picture the Christmas event, or the Valentines event! Those were really fun videos to make--and I'd love to be able to make more! And also to make more of those audio scenes that were well received. Those were always fairly easy and fun to script and didn't take took much out of me to do--so hopefully I can put a lot more of those out and give you all just one more reason to visit the Patreon. Since sometimes I feel like the dev logs and bonus art might not be enough in the wait for Chapter Two--and am always racking my brains for more ways to keep you all entertained! So in the meantime, if you have any ideas of your own you'd like to suggest, please let me know!

Whew--and here I was saying I wasn't going to ramble! I just can't help myself, can I? But in conclusion, yeah--I have lots planned for 2020 and hope everything goes smoothly enough to allow for it to come to fruition.
