Quest Failed - Guest Art Corner #1 - Nefetari

Hiya, guys! I hope you're all doing well and that the summer is treating you well!

As you may or may not recall--I was mulling over starting a guest art feature on Patreon to mix things up a little--and showcase some awesome art pieces, along with being able to introduce you to all sorts of awesome artists, too!

And today I'm happy to be able to share with you the results of this collaboration--namely, this gorgeous Nefertari piece~ <3 It seems the clumsy ol' mummy has found herself in quite the tangled situation, oh dear! (Nobody knows quite how she got in this mess, but my head canon is that she was napping in a tree, tumbled out, and her bandages snagged on the branches on the way down. Hey--it could happen, okay!)

This month's guest art was done by the super ultra talented Escapist Howl! I've had the pleasure of working with her during Chapter Two's early days, where she was a key artist in helping illustrating and bring to life some of the earlier CG scenes you may have seen before! (Such as Lucille's little 'deal') among some other secret CGs you haven't seen yet, huhu. She worked in collaboration with Subrineet, another artist who worked on QF--and together they really helped me out of a tight spot, when I was looking for artists to fill the empty slots that had opened at the end of Chapter One's development! While Howl doesn't work full time for Quest Failed anymore, I've always been a fan of her style and was eager to get in touch with her when reaching out for artists during this guest art section. And as luck would have it, Howl was just as eager to contribute! And so, to make a long story short (because gosh do I waffle) this awesome Tari piece was born!

Something I've always admired about Howl's art is how seemingly effortlessly she's able to craft even the most complex of poses on a whim and add so many nice details to them! Note all the subtle little touches like the bandages digging into the plumpness of her skin and all of the care taken to lovingly render all the highlights and details on her flawless skin~ A lot of care went into bringing this piece together, and Howl really wanted to  make a good impression you guys, so I hope you enjoy this piece just as much as we did bringing it to life!

If you want to follow Howl in her own solo endeavors, please do check out her twitter here: https://twitter.com/escapisthowl

In addition, she often streams her work as well and has quite a following going for herself on twitch, of which you can find here: https://www.twitch.tv/escapisthowl

Mrrrrr~ That about 'wraps' (haha, I kill myself) it up for this guest art segment! A big thanks again to Escapist Howl for participating and as always it was a pleasure working with her~!

Until next time, guys!

Hmm, hmm~ I wonder which character will be next?
