Maybe more disinterest than incompetence. I feel like he is expecting Sorin to come to the conclusion that it's better to partner up by himself because he can't get a good team here.

2025-12-11 21:00:47 +0000 UTCAfter a reread I'll give it a pass. The fight was quick, he killed a few of them quickly, remnant got to the rest of the party and they fumbled it due to these two floors really being all of their experience.

2025-12-11 16:08:24 +0000 UTCKeiran had the same trouble at times, it seems as though EC likes putting the protagonist so deep in the hole that it feels a little incredulous that they make it. With the Hellions it feels like we’re depending on enemy incompetence to survive.

2025-12-11 15:58:44 +0000 UTCI have some disbelief with Sorin having any trouble with 20 of these. He should be able to solo them easily. He killed a group with a tier 8 on them with his hand broken. These are weak dumb monsters on floor 2, and Rue killed four of them instantly. Odric is the weak point of the party fighting for sure.
