The pacing still bothers me. In a couple chapters, Sorin was the made the primary target for the Hellions. And how quickly they manage to pass messages across multiple floors is insane. I am glad Nemari is finally gone. She was insufferable from the readers perspective. I will also say that I feel like the story has been very conflict heavy. Constantly running into major problems but the payout for handling them is minimal. It also pulls away the image that Sorin is this badass from another tower he cleared. The scaling of problems was a sharp increase for only being on floor 2 of the tower.

As they round out their builds the power vacuum her leaving created will decrease especially considering she was the biggest proponent against Sorin’s build recommendations.

2025-11-22 14:33:05 +0000 UTCI think it depends. If it’s classic build then you’d have a front liner, scout, ranged damage dealer, healer? Maybe a tank as well? But in this it seems Sorin is saying it’s better if ppl don’t specialise and if they all have rounded out builds. So it comes down to how many ppl they want in their team, and whether more ppl = bigger bosses? But then smaller teams can do smaller missions but not have to split the loot so many ways? In short… I guess it’s subjective?
