2025-01-07 03:12:05 +0000 UTCJun-ho had a conversation with his mom in episode 2 where she said that In-ho’s wife died because she was sick and unable to get a kidney. Because of this I believe what he said to Gi-hun was true. But, we as the audience know that his wife died so I believe he is playing as his past self. I also believe this is why In-ho entered the games in 2015 (as revealed in Season 1).
