I can't stop giggling about the Recruiter using puppy play ball gags on the guys who were following him. That's an entirely new level of degradation. 🤣

2024-12-27 23:40:49 +0000 UTCI was SO looking forward to season 2! I love this ongoing theme of the illusion of “free choice.” Like with the bread vs lottery ticket. The suit guy was making it out like they were “trash” for not choosing the bread. But 1) he didn’t tell them that he was going to crush the bread like some psycho clown and 2) one bun is not going to change their lives, while a winning ticket might. Just like in the games they kept saying “it’s your choice to be here” while the people playing didn’t know the games were manipulated so that all of them but one were going to die. It mirrors the problematic thinking of a lot of privileged/powerful people in the real world. That those of worse circumstances are only there because of their own choices and deserve to be there.
