Movie magic aside I'm glad he figured out that he carried all of the others with him and used the information to him advantage. I don't think Death made the pen drop I think she was ready to take his ass to Hell. She was walking pretty damn slow like she wanted dude to die so she could take them both. The wind and the semi were a nice touch.

I think if he didn't stop trying to kill that Dude then Death would have dragged him to hell. But she gave him a chance with the pen. Kinda like she was saying his girlfriend wouldn't have wanted that end for him. Still, I think Death got back at the Serial Killer for mocking Death and God and saying he was more powerful. Dangled his butt in front of a semi-truck!
