If you read the lyrics when they perform, the lyrics is like this: "when we paint that 쉿" its sounds like "shit" but actually the pronounce is shh.. so maybe they didnt censored that part because the lyrics on screen written in hangul and it have different meaning. That why they said its like word play.. but yeah correct me if i wrong hehe i just watch it from korean reaction^^

2022-04-21 16:29:19 +0000 UTCMy rankings here were: Rap: It’s One > I’m still so confused as to why they censored Bobby saying ‘shit’ but they didn’t censor Chan saying exactly the same thing 👀 It’s annoying ‘cause it made the hook feel weirdly disjointed of their stage. If you watch the stagecam for that video though you can hear the full thing, and Hwi’s autotune also comes out really different there. It’s strange. Anyweh. Sunwoo really shone here. His verse was amazing. I really hope he gets to do more stuff like this in the future. Bobby, Sunwoo and Hwiyoung also came together to perform this at kcon. I loved that performance. ^^ Dance: Mayfly > San saved the performance for me tbh Vocal: Mayfly > The arrangment, the harmonization. Everything was just so on point. Love it. Notes: Neither of the dance stages really did much for me and that was frustrating. Mayfly’s literally just felt like a cover stage without mics. And the camera work and excessive amount of setpieces for It’s one really caused so much of the intricacy of the choreo to be lost and . It’s frustrating because I have watched Taeyang, DK and Juyeon perform seriously sick choreos on 1Million, studio choom, ygx and their own yt channels. For both the stages it felt like we were given more of a dance PERFORMANCE as opposed to a DANCE performance yk? Also, not using Changmin (TBZ other main dancer) is such a missed opportunity imo. He’s literally insane. I feel like Inseong was lowkey pushed to sing highnotes in Kingdom. It’s weird ‘cause he’s an amazing vocalist. He’s worked on musicals and his stages in Double Trouble are great. ( him and Hyolyn performing together practically made me levitate lol) It’s just that the way he had to sing here does nothing much to highlight his voice at all. That made me sad. PS. New is an angel. Tf?! How can he sing like that??? ✨

And then let's not forget that most of SF9 members were extremely busy during Kingdom, I still don't know how Inseong managed to be part of every performance and be part of the vocal team, knowing my guy did 2 musicals, and lot of other things during the show.

2022-04-21 08:23:27 +0000 UTCi actually feel like, for the particular performance that it’s one decided to put on, three members was the perfect number to portray the feelings and story of their piece. of course, i always wish that the boyz would let other members, especially q, shine more. love juyeon to pieces but i would have killed to see q on that stage. as such a huge group, people usually only know sunwoo, juyeon, and maybe kevin 😭 i actually personally think it’s one could’ve put more people out in the rap performance rather than the dance, but at the end of the day i really loved each and every performance!! everyone was amazing and i was living for all the wholesome interactions 😂

So you can’t tell me that with 11 members in THE BOYZ only Juyeon is a dancer? Sure he’s a main dancer but is he afraid to share the spotlight? The difference between the two teams - Mayfly used every member from BTOB, STRAY KIDS & ATEEZ in this round. Yes, it’s unrealistic to say It’s One should’ve used all 24 members (2 were hurt) but they could’ve capitalized better. FIGHTING!!🫶

I lost my absolute shit when they performed his song huhu. Btw. The Boyz also did a Taemin song on Road To Kingdom. Definitely recommend checking that out seeing as to how much you’re enjoying Kingdom.
