1.24.1.1 and other updates

So... Where to begin... This month has been a roller coaster. At the beginning of the month my Patreon page was suspended but that has since been resolved. And the release of 1.24.1 was not well received, to say the least... So I thought I'd give an update on what is going to be happening going forward.
Single Again 1.24.1.1
I knew this update would not go over well with some of the decisions that I went with. The characters, namely Frank and Lilith acting outside how they've been written in the past. But I didn't expect the update to be (pretty much) universally hated. So, I've gone back and re-written parts of it.
The main issue people seemed to have was Frank pushing Abigail into a relationship with Lilith. That has been removed and all other dialog that came from that has been changed.
The new version is already up and ready to downloaded from the usual links.
The Patreon Debacle
At the start of the month my Patreon page was suspended for "material that falls outside the bounds of the community guidelines". For comments and links made on a certain unnamed pirate site. The issue has been resolved but is still a concern. Which leads into the next point.
A new game
I've been making plans for a what a second game would be like for a long time now. And with what happened I'm going to be pushing forward with it. It's still very early in the development stages, a few characters have been made (Pics have been posted on Discord) and the story for the first few updates. It's still a ways off.
When the first update is done and ready to go, that game will become the face of my Patreon page and all references to Single again will be removed. You will still be able to download all the new Single again updates from the usual links.
Update schedule
First up is the the first part of Becca's side story. That will be out by the end of August.
After that I will be working on 1.24.2.
When that's done I'll be starting the new game.
Then I will be alternating updates between Single again and the new game.

I just found Single Again and it's one of the most well-written, engaging, funny adult games I've seen! I've just spent the last few days going through it all in all my free time and I hope to help see it through to a final version.

2024-07-31 01:57:23 +0000 UTCI prefer the original to the redo. I also don't agree with changing the game just because some people complained about it. You will never please everyone. It happened once, which means people can complain again and it might get changed again.

2024-07-24 11:11:11 +0000 UTCYou know, I really have to start being more vocal about when I like an update. Those who hate it are always the most vocal. I wasn't one bit disturbed by the new Frank. Anthony D. above kind of sums up my view also. How can characters develop if they never change? I kind of liked the new Frank. Oh well, what's done is done. The issue with Patreon suspending developers due to comments posted on that pirate site is becoming more and more common. The companies that control the payments made to Patreon and other similar sites seem to be controlled by those who have a certain religious viewpoint that allows them to deny payments for games that do not meet their "standards." The future of adult games seems to be at risk.

As for the story, I mean it was character development, along with Frank pushing Abby and Lil together, seemed in character to me. I kinda figured you had a plan for how it all would develope.

2024-07-24 07:30:05 +0000 UTCif I'd known there was an issue, I'd have said something - I didn't see Frank's actions as forcing; he only "pushed" Abby in the sense that he got her to realize that her attitude toward Lily was going to get someone hurt (likely Lily, if not Lily and Abby both)...yes, it likely was a sharp realization for Abby, but imho, so was when Lily went to bed nekkid with her and Frank - which got Abby to realize her rules apply to other people.
