Some Updates
Added 2019-12-31 20:01:58 +0000 UTCHi folks. I wanted to give you some updates on my current progress.
I've posted an updated version of chapters 7 to 9, with changes to the Corec/Razai scene in chapter 9, plus a new scene in chapter 7.
The change to the Razai scene is because something different is going on this time, and I felt it would be better to make that obvious (to the reader) rather than coming as a surprise later.
The new scene in chapter 7 is a discussion between Shavala and Venni. The scene itself isn't all that important, but it covers a few details that have gotten lost in the shuffle.
I'm still interested in hearing any feedback you might have on chapters 7 to 9, including the new changes.
I'm working on chapters 10 to 12, but between holidays, illness, and rewrites, I'm running behind. I'll try to get them out in the next week or so.
On another subject, I also released SSSC: The Complete Series (books 1 to 6). There isn't any new content, so if you already purchased the individual ebooks, there's no reason to buy the collection. But if you were waiting for a single book, it's available now. And it's got a new, professionally designed cover (my amateur covers weren't exactly helping to sell the individual books).
I've also released The Complete Series as a (very large) paperback through Amazon (6"x9" with 718 pages). It uses their print-on-demand option, so it's rather expensive. I mostly just did it so I could have my own copy, and as a test run for The Eighth Warden Book 1, but I'll go ahead and leave it up for a while in case anyone else wants it. Please note that I've never used this print-on-demand option before, so I can't vouch for the quality (I'm still waiting for my copy to arrive).
For those of you who've been waiting for EPUB rather than Amazon, I've also released the SSSC books on Lulu (including the complete collection). Apparently I can't make SSSC available on the more popular EPUB stores yet because the story is still posted on SOL and Lit, and I'm not ready to take it down yet.
