Jessie Rasberry 7th Heaven Pinup Release

Hey all :)

After a much longer wait than I wanted, I finally have another render for you all. I hope you like it! I know it's not my usual Resident Evil content, but it was something I really wanted to make, and it's important to enjoy what you work on to keep the creativity flowing, prevent burnout, and (hopefully) produce a good result.

So, yeah. Jessie Rasberry. This render might seem a bit random, but here's how it came about. Motivated by the recent release of FF7 Rebirth, I finally got around to a playthrough of FF7 Remake. (I tried to play FF7R on release, but was struggling with severe depression at the time and couldn't enjoy it. I didn't want to force myself to play it anyway and have those feelings forever associated with the game, so I decided to shelve my playthrough until I was in a better headspace.) And playing FF7R inspired me to make something FF-related. I was originally planning on doing something with Tifa, but then I remembered I had some really nice custom particle hair for Jessie and decided to do a pinup with her instead.

As for the render itself, there's just the one version with three post-processing variants, two of which are pictured here ("soft" and "stylized color grading," respectively). There's also a "sharp" version in the archive, which is just the "soft" version with a few of the subtle post-processing effects omitted.

Despite it's relatively simple appearance, this render actually took a long time to make, as I made it on the newest version of Blender that just released and ran into a ton of technical issues I had to troubleshoot and solve. Jessie's custom particle hair is also extremely heavy to render (but man it looks good!), so I had to wait to render until I had a clear stretch of weather, as it was storming here for the past several days. I didn't want to risk losing progress mid-render to a power outage, which could potentially corrupt the .blend file in the process as well. My original plan was to have this out much sooner for you all, but for the above reasons that didn't work out, unfortunately.

Anyway, in closing, I truly hope you enjoy this piece, and my sincere thanks to those of you who have kept your support going and been patient since my last render. As usual, these embedded images are the downscaled half-rez versions, and you can grab the native full-rez versions from the MEGA archive!
