I've been working on this interesting one-shot module. An excerpt:
"Long ago, in a wood-elf settlement, a half-elf was born; the fruit of a love once strong. Ithilia, an elven maiden, had a son with Darrel Sunburst, a human adventurer who helped the elves. He aided them to get rid of orcs and goblin vermin who wanted to put an end to their lives in the forest. Darrel was just passing by but could not stay idle when facing such atrocity. Plus, the presence of Ithilia, the gracious and fair elf in distress was quite the motivating factor.
They succeeded in repelling the orc raid by taking advantage of the forest. Hiding in the top of the trees and branches, the elves used the terrain to fool the intruders. Darrel stood his ground defending Ithilia and her close ones. He fought with great courage but an arrow stroke his right leg and could not walk. The elf family felt grateful to him so they asked him to honor them with his presence and stay. They tended to his wounds until he was able to stand again."
Be sure to read the lore in the attached PDF, they eventually have a son and the son goes bananas when the father passes away. It is included with the usual map formats and a Roll20 version too.
