I even made my own Focusrite costume for Halloween this past year haha The cable you got is definitely for a guitar input; it’s got two 1/4 inch male TS ends. It looks like in the previous Patreon video you have the XLR edition 3Dio; to get the best quality with the 3Dio I’d suggest getting a new cable that has the 1/4 inch male side but TRS (not TS; the difference between the two is there’s a second ring on it, which helps send stereo signals instead of mono signals) and then dual XLR females on the other end (to plug into those two circular spots beside the 1/8 inch cable entrance). It should be called something like “Dual Female XLR to 1/4 inch TRS Stereo Male Y-Splitter Cable”. There’s probably plenty at Guitar Center, Amazon, and Sweetwater!
