I did say at the beginning of the video that this is for people who want to get into the genre, but are having a hard time doing so. If it's not for you, it's not for you "shrug".

Do you think no other game rewards exploration, or patience and learning the systems, or has difficult bosses that provide catharsis when you finally overcome them? I don’t need to “learn” how to enjoy these games, I’m not disliking them because I’m “doing it wrong”. I dislike them because of their core systems, loop and design philosophy. And people need to accept that and stop trying convert me like some kind of cult preacher. Just enjoy what you like and stop being baffled that we don’t. Otherwise I’ll be happy to explain the joy of playing a classic JRPG on hard mode or RTS provides me and patronising you when you express dissatisfied.

2025-10-22 19:16:19 +0000 UTCLies of P doesn't have to be 'expert' now they added two less-difficult difficulty modes. I was happy to see more people have the confidence to jump into it. One of my favourite games, and I'm not big on Soulslikes.
