243 The Red Pit and Torture Chamber

Back to the usual stuff, this is an underground secret fighting pit with adjoining cells and a torture chamber. It belongs to four merciless councilmen who dispose of their enemies in the fighting pit and enjoy the show from their seats. It is the result of absolute power and the depravity that ensues when a person is in a state of total immunity.
In short, when someone opposes the councilmen or when a person is arrested that no one will miss, they are brought down to the cells. Once there, they are assumed to never return to the surface, only two alternatives remain: It is either the torture chamber or a "fake" chance of freedom in the fighting pit.
Included is a PDF with a more in length description of the background lore and several versions of the illustration.
