I've created this excellent town full of adventures and lore. Be sure to read that PDF for some adventure seeds and ideas you can use for this town or for any other settlement in your own games. There's plenty of them, most of them aimed for low-level adventurers.
This illustration comes with a layout I tried last month that received very nice comments. I am particularly pleased with how this one looks. I think it's one of my best.
