I wish I could turn off the commets in this app, all I am left with is learning to not swipe up... All this drama gets motivated here, by this kind of talk. Nice video yatz, to bad the comment section has turned into a radiactive swamp. I hear frost a video, for the life of me I am not watching that. So happy I read SW rection first. I am not a stackholder, not an investor. SW does not own we anything. I am more than happy to just consume, that's what most of patreon is. That SW tries to be transparent, and are organized as a co-op really shows something, and I now also sub, because this kind of company structure is something I believe in. But this "drama" is an effect of this transparency, everything could have been kept quite. But mostly, this all motivated by over reacting, that is the people here announcing they are leaving included. SW handled this fine, shot like happens, it is not great, but it happens. A product of people growing, together. That they are doing this, and this it didn't sink after 2 weeks is insane, like really, any other group of people could not have made this work. I am not even going to justify myself it providing some reasonable arguments to motivate why Nick probably isn't the he'll spawn you make him out to be, because clearly don't. I don't know him, I can afford not to care because of distance, but 11 people who leave their job, start a co-op, and a willing to go without pay for a couple of moths. Either nicks is the biggest manipulator in corporate history, or this group actually believes in what they are doing... Sorry for rant, see you guys.

Is that really so bad? SWG's whole deal is supposed to be transparency with the supporters, so publishing salaries seems like a natural extension of that. Government employees have their salaries published annually for the same reason. Do you have any more information about unethical stuff Frost has done? I've seen some people referring to Frost's misdeeds and I'd like to know more about it to get an accurate view of both sides of this situation.

Don't. I joined and got tired of the constant @ going on. So I left. Next day I was back in (not by choice), left. Next day I was back in. Did that way too many damn times before patreon told me I was being automatically added back.

The entire situation reminds me all too well of Rooster Teeth perhaps if more members of that Co. had been open w/ its community such as how Frost has been with SW's and the industry as a whole thing might have turned out different for them as well. Frost committed a serious personal data breach and leaked everyone else's salaries on a public discord. I would take whatever he says with a massive pinch of salt, he is not ethical.

The problem with Second Wind is that it is built on trust. If we can not trust that the content is chosen by the content creators we love based on what they want to cover, it is hard to support. They need to address the points Frost made. There are so many excellent content creators at Second Wind that I want to support but it is hard to continue to do so at the moment.

I said it two weeks ago and I'll say it again "Nick Calandra doesn't deserve the pay he earns from these creators." Thats it, Nick, post your own counter receipts from Frost or let SWG find a new leader that won't actively damage the brand and the channel. The Patreon has already dipped below $50k and with the latest news out, I don't see it improving without either significant counter evidence or the worlds biggest apology with the most clear/transparent path forward for SWG.
