Flux 1 has been compressed down to 1GB VRAM, which is great because it means it can run on an integrated graphics card. But the less weight the model has, the longer it takes to generate. I can't wait forever for that awful anatomy or spelling mistakes or any other issues that can still happen with a image model. And Flux doesn't know most of the characters in the game yet, so you need to fine-tune it, and it still takes time.
I didn't mention it before, but I'm not using Automatic1111 anymore. It's really slow and buggy, with a lot of errors, and their update process is just sad. I switched to WebUI Forge instead. It's basically the same as Automatic1111's interface, but it's faster and more reliable. I didn't have a single error or crash!
I'm finally saving up for the 4090. Yeah, I've decided to hold off on it for a while. I don't have any hope that 50-series cards won't still cost as much as some countries' GDPs, or that old cards will ever get cheaper.
Also, just to let you know, I got another nasty diagnosis and I'm now using speakers instead of headphones. It won't affect game development in any way. I just wanted to tell you. The treatment's 10 days long and I hope to be good as new after that!
