She doesn't remember why she's here or where here is... or even remember ordering so much food! But events soon spiral out of control as a bevy of waiters is determined to serve her more and more and MORE food... and Audrey doesn't know if she can keep up!

It's hard to explain exactly, but you've captured the 'dream-like' aspect that these stories venture into, and you capture it in a way that reads so enjoyable. Elements like breaking each piece of clothing one-by-one, the observations made by other diners, and of course, the trays and trays of food. It almost reminds me a bit of Daphne Wins a Prize, in terms of just a continued never ending stuffing, but with a bit of a differnet focus, and of course, much more dream like. A nice change of pace, and one you are very apt at writing.
