Let Them Eat Cake
Added 2016-04-19 01:57:53 +0000 UTCWhen the gluttonous, pampered, greedy Queen Marie Antoinette dismissed warnings of peasant unrest with a glib "Let them eat cake!", she had no idea just how those words would come back to haunt her. An angry peasant mob has the queen imprisoned in the Bastille and is determined to make sure that the queen gets as much cake as she can hold... and maybe just a little more. An extreme force-feeding/stuffing/weight gain story with an explosive ending.
This was a commission, so I'll be posting it online next week so I'll also post it here for $1 and up to see!

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Coming up with some period metaphors was a bit of a challenge but also fun... glad you appreciated that :)

You really bring her pomposity and demonic decadence to life, and I love the authentic period metaphors and allusions in the descriptions of her size and appetite. Good little fable too!
