Post only for patreons because it includes adult images.
This week I finished the final animation in the basement scene, the detailed renders for it, and started the next scene: the MC's "second baptism." I also continued with Saturday's script, preparing the morning renders and the trip to the island.
Regarding the latter, I encountered (expected) problems when I started writing the dialogue and the general script for Saturday: duplicate images, unfinished renders, redundant shots, lighting issues, and image errors. I only encountered the latter in ten renders (I think), and it's something I thought was inevitable when I created those renders, but after months of using similar resources, I've learned to correct it.
This problem was on the horizon. Literally. During the boat trip, the sea and the sky meet at a height of y=0, but the sky I was using as an environment wasn't designed to work at such a low altitude. That's why I had to rotate the dome, that is, the background image where there's supposedly nothing: a fixed 360º image that serves as the background. When I first did this a few months ago, I didn't know this was possible. The problem was that the point where the sea and sky met created a worn effect because the sky wasn't intended to be used at such low altitudes. By rotating the dome, I managed to reduce this unwanted effect to invisible levels, allowing the horizon to be clearly visible.
In preparing the script, I also had to correct classic problems such as "rogue pixels," white pixels that appear more or less randomly due to lighting problems and that clash with the image. This is perhaps the most tedious thing to fix, as it's solved with an image editing program (I use GIMP 2) by copying the pixel next to the white pixel and dragging the color to hide the problem. Very effective: the image is perfect, but it's somewhat tedious.
Regarding the script itself: the code that will appear in the game, dialogue, sound effects, music, images, etc. It's currently being ported. This week I've written the MC's meeting with Mrs. Bellmere, the meeting with Mrs. Zarcoty, a couple of lines of dialogue, the journey, and the arrival at the port from which they will travel to the island. In the following days, I hope to complete the port and journey scenes, and, if possible, as many animations as possible. The truth is, I grossly underestimated the time this part will take. Being used to shorter updates, this one is proving to be a real pain.
Regarding the new renders: After finishing the NSFW animation, another NSFW scene will take place... but no a sexual one. This time it will be a baptism of blood. The MC will be forced to kill the prisoner as proof of submission. This will be a turning point for the MC, who will once again be haunted by memories of guilt. It will be a significant moment in the evolution of the game's story, showing the MC that death is no longer an unfounded fear due to his past actions, but a very real threat. This will be reinforced by the return trip to the city. But I don't want to spoil that yet.
In short, I'm sorry for the delay with this update. It's mainly due to overambition and trouble figuring out how long it would take. I'm sure I'll do shorter updates in the future. This one is in its final stages, but it's still many hours of "unsightly" work writing code and fixing bugs that won't be accompanied by interesting images: a screenshot from Atom, the software I use to edit text (an old-fashioned one, but one I like), or from GIMP correcting pixels isn't particularly eye-catching. I will continue uploading images of the game already running or of the new scenes added every week, but it certainly gives an image of stagnation that I cannot avoid since to finish the game there are few scenes left to render but a lot of script to write.
Regarding Love in Futa Time 2:
The editing of this last chapter still in progress.
