This week I've finished two conversation scenes and started the basement scene. I've also finished Friday's script and started organizing Saturday's renders.

Regarding the finished scenes, the conversation in the bathtub will be a bit more intimate and will be slightly different if the player hasn't visited Mrs. Bellmere on Saturday night. But in any case, this conversation will be intimate, to show Mrs. Bellmere's romantic intentions toward the MC. On the other hand, the conversation after the bath, outside by the sea, will be more related to the gold robbery and the secret hidden in the basement.

This secret is a prisoner linked to the robbery and the true sadistic and cruel side of Mayor Zarcoty. I originally wanted to leave the secret as optional, but it would be too much of a loss for the next update, when there will be a meeting that will decide the rest of the game, and for that meeting, it's necessary to have as many cards as possible on the table. For this reason, it's highly desirable for the MC to discover things related to the robbery on the island, and that's why I've decided to make this scene mandatory.

The scene won't change much. The MC will witness Mrs. Zarcoty's fetishes: whip and strapon as methods of intercourse with her subordinates. There will be two animations for two different scenes: the first, the mayor whipping the prisoner while Mrs. Bellmere watches the spectacle with the MC as a silent companion. However, the MC won't have any animation in the basement. The second animation will be of the prisoner being fucked by Mrs. Bellmere's strapon with the mayor forming a BDSM threesome.

This will be the last scene on the island. Afterward, there will be a couple of scenes for the boat departing, and then we'll move on to the scene on the boat. But that won't be immediate. This basement scene will probably take a couple of weeks, as lighting plays an important role. Daz3D, the program I use to render, is a program that "requires" a lot of light. The scene is in a basement. It's a problem, but I think this scene in a dark and sinister setting is a good ending to the weekend, which took place in a brighter and more colorful environment. What I'll do is the same method I used to animate the cabin scenes: render the setup and characters separately. I already did this in previous updates, but I decided to leave it at the beginning of this one because of the difference in lighting during the animation (very simple) and in the close-ups (more elaborate). Now, with the lighting options I wasn't familiar with a year ago, I can return to making more complex animations in a more reasonable amount of time while maintaining the same quality.

In the coming weeks, I'll finish the basement scene and begin the scene of the return boat trip. In that scene, there will be dialogue and an important event for the plot, but there will only be one animation, and it will be optional. After that, there will be close-ups until we reach Mrs. Bellmere's house, where the update will end with a scene between Mrs. Bellmere and the MC, in which there will be one final animation. So right now, there are four animations and several shots left to finish the renders for this update. There's also the script I'll write in parallel with the renders, and the renders for any corrections I may need as I progress through writing and review. I can't give a date on how much time is left, but right now I'm already thinking about how to proceed with the next update because this one has almost everything planned out.
