I do wish the pace was greater tho, the build up to anything meaningful is very slow, and I feel like I read way too much fluff and repetition from 2 chapters ago. Things like Alicents meeting with Cole was nice the first time to characterize both of them, but the 2nd felt forced and unnecessary. Just small critiques, but excited to see how the next update will go

2025-06-09 19:25:18 +0000 UTCThat is certainly a twist I didn't see coming! There are a number of things Jon/Daeron can do here. He could attack Cole and try to kill him first, thouslgh undoubtedly Leanor will get in the way and Jon needs no distractions. He could offer to assist Leanor in attacking Cole but that will probably get rejected and Leanor to turn his anger towards Jon. He could attack Leanor first, defeat him and then attack Cole. He'd win of course but Leanor would hate him for stealing his vengeance He could allow Leanor to fight Cole. Leanor would die and then Jon can step in to give the Velaryons vengeance for their fallen son. The ramifications would be huge though in regards to the marriage pact and whom would take Leanors place
