It's weird how you have the other Avatars able to see his actions but not the fact that the other spirits are there talking with him. Good chapter either way, I'd prefer a Mel that actually conformed to her 'Prince's' wishes versus what she thinks is expected. Also, question.. Wouldn't Jon technically have an affinity for air as well based on his dragon blood? Dragons flying is more magically induced than a bird's feathers considering their bodies' size vs their wings capabilities. So the Fire of his lineage should also include Air I'd think. Earth could potentially be argued on the same plane since the Ice side of things would include the old gods, based on their old oaths where they quote earth in them.. "I swear it by earth and water. I swear it by bronze and iron. I swear it by ice and fire."
