FORM THE ARCHIVE... 1999-2000

For this weeks post, I decided to share some of my earliest works. Back then I had an affinity for #2 pencils and plain sketchbook paper.

These pieces in particular were inspired by works I had seen in an erotic art museum in Paris' Pigalle, near the Moulin Rouge. Though the originals were of lovely young women, I wanted to try my hand at interpreting them.

I don't know about you, but I think my faces have gotten better with the passing years.
