Daily Update 7/29
Added 2023-07-29 18:38:56 +0000 UTCHey friends! I'm gonna try to start doing brief daily updates to let you know what I'm working on. I realize I don't do a good job of that, and maybe people wonder or get frustrated that I'm not so active.
So, today, I'm going through some of the work on the Jocelyn comic which has been pretty extensive. It's not a huge epic, but it is a sizeable novella, and it's no small task to convert it to a comic, though it has been really enjoyable.
Much of the remaining work on the pages that haven't been released yet are fixing continuity issues. Just little things like "oh this chair looks different on this page," or "the small details on this character's face don't quite match up." And of course adding all the text and speech bubbles. I think there's a big temptation to rush adding the text, but placing speech bubbles carefully I think can help make a good reading experience.
So I'm working bit by bit on those little details.
I'm working my full time job and a part time job just to pay for everything. Stuff is getting really expensive and I think everyone knows that. Money doesn't go quite as far as it used to. But we are making it day by day somehow. I hope you are doing okay too. Please support me responsibly! Don't give to my patreon if you can't manage it, please... Please make sure you're taking care of yourself first.
But at the same time, thank you so very much if you have made the decision to do so. Quite honestly we need your help now more than ever, and my sincere appreciation to you if you have given in the past or are continuing to support my work here. I'm going to do my best to continue it when I get a few hours off work during the week. I have a lot of things I want to do, but I'm trying to focus on the projects that I've already started first.
